Docking & Grading

Baywood Products offers timber docking and grading services utilising the latest timber scanning equipment – Woodeye (made in Sweden). Our scanner can grade defects, such as knots, cracks, undersize, pith, wane, blue stain, resin, holes, needle trace and profile errors. We also offer precision docked to length components on our super-fast Dimter cross-cut saw (made in Germany). Accuracy on our dressed timber is +/- 1mm per metre and we can cut any length from 150 – 6000mm. Additionally, we also offer recovery data in Microsoft Excel format available on each production run.
